Role: Lead Creative Producer

One of my favorite projects I’ve ever had the joy of working on is the short film June. The objective was to create a short animated film that brought to life Lyft’s motto: life is better when you share the ride. In this 8 minute film directed by John Kahrs, we see June come out of her shell as she begins driving for Lyft and building her community. The film also features an original song by Grammy-winner Sir the Baptist.

As an Executive Producer on the project for Lyft, I negotiated the contracts with our director and animation studio, managed budgets and timelines, and worked with our creative team to art direct assets for launch. I also helped organize and oversee film premieres in three cities that highlighted not only the film, but also the Lyft driver community.
